Marketing Manager (12 Months Maternity Leave Cover)

Urbanest is looking for a motivated, passionate and energetic individual to join our team as the Marketing Manager who will be responsible for maintaining Urbanest’s competitive advantage in domestic and international markets (APAC) and delivering enquiries to the regional sales teams in an increasingly competitive environment. With a strong focus on acquisition marketing, this role will develop and oversee execution of impactful marketing plans across B2B and B2C channels ensuring marketing campaigns, events, projects, jobs and partnerships are effectively implemented to support revenue goals and brand-building initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Master a deep understanding of Urbanest’s market segments (both onshore and offshore), key stakeholders and partners
  • Develop marketing strategies from market segment insights and brand positioning
  • Develop multi-channel campaign & event strategies, utilising digital and offline channels to deliver KPI’s
  • Develop an effective and impactful point-of-sale plan to optimise conversion rates
  • Manage search strategy to maintain top positioning through paid search, while working with external agencies on executing optimisation plans
  • Optimise customer journey's through the website and across multiple touch-points to website goals, while collaborating with external and internal stakeholders to review the effectiveness of the website and improve performance
  • Proactively identify & develop new marketing channels and growth opportunities to support business-wide growth goals

Partnerships

  • Successfully manage a diverse range of relationships internally and externally including internal clients, University Partners, Industry Bodies, Contractors, Agency Partners, Sponsorships and Education Agencies
  • Develop marketing goa­­ls and KPIs for existing and new partnerships to grow the effectiveness of how they market Urbanest to their students

Team Management

  • Inspire and motivate team members through fostering a cohesive, creative, challenging and rewarding working environment
  • Manage direct report effectively through guidance, clear goal setting, mentoring, training, coaching and constructive feedback

Financial Management

  • Forecast the yearly Marketing Budget and manage spend to the approved yearly budget
  • Report on performance of the team against Marketing KPI’s

Essential Criteria

  • Previous 3+ years’ experience in a Marketing Manager or similar role
  • Demonstrated individual success in delivering marketing and campaign plans
  • At least 2+ years’ experience in people management
  • Experience in both B2C and B2B marketing
  • Ability to travel for work
  • Motivated with a strong desire to achieve personal and team goals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
